CorreLog, Inc. Announces Security Software for IBM® DB2® Product Launch and Educational Speaking Sessions at SHARE Atlanta, July 31 - August 5.

CorreLog to demonstrate its latest release of dbDefender™ DAM Agent for z/OS and deliver two educational sessions that will provide attendees with a deeper understanding of the importance of security and auditing for compliance in managing DB2® resources and overall mainframe security.

CorreLog, the leader in multi-platform IT security event log management, today announced its latest release of the dbDefender™ Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) Agent for IBM® DB2® will be a featured solution at SHARE Atlanta. SHARE Atlanta will take place July 31st through August 5th at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis, and will focus on education to help enterprise IT professionals expand their knowledge, enhance skills and increase organizational efficiencies. SHARE Atlanta will feature more than 500 technical sessions and CorreLog will present or co-present at two of them.

"Mainframe security auditing has only recently begun to be included into distributed SIEM (Security Information & Event Management) tools, and DB2 security continues to lag farther behind in SIEM adoption," said George Faucher, president and CEO at CorreLog, Inc. "Organizations are just now understanding that auditors want to see mainframe data included in their Security Operations Centers (SOC) for compliance. With so much critical enterprise data, intellectual property, and payment card data residing in DB2, real-time DB2 monitoring is essential for an effective cross-platform IT security strategy."
